compartirEconomic policy must revolve around the recognition of the prominence of the prívate sector, which has traditionally been the driving force behind welfare and wealth in the Islands. Improved productivity will guide the economic policy of the future Partido Popular government, because it is the only way to reach the level of competitiveness that a global and interconnected world demands. To this end we propose acting in three main areas:
- Austerity in the Civil Service.
- Economic reformism which will make it easier to adapt to new requirements.
- Assistance for those most affected by the transformation process.
